Cristie loves being outdoors helping her husband with the yard or tending to her chickens. She also loves to cook and have people over. You will always find Cristie smiling and enjoying all that she can in the abundant life that God has blessed her with.

If you could run away from all your responsibilities, where would you go and why?
I’ve been lots of places from Hawaiia, Florida, Colorado, Australia, Europe, yada yada,…but nothing compares to being on a secluded mountainside in our camper,  just me, my hubby, my family, and the hummingbird buzzing by.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
“It’s better to take your time and do it right the first time than to cut corners and have to re-do!”~Quote from my mother-in-law.

“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” ~again with the mother-in-law!!

“It is better to be patient than powerful; it is better to have self-control than to conquer a city.”  My buddy, King Solomon (Proverbs 16:32)

What type’s of ministry are you most passionate about and why?
I believe that changes with different seasons in our lives.  For me right now, it’s serving others in whatever way God directs me. Hospitality, prayer, lumberjacking, etc.

  1. Dear Cristie,
It is hard for me to imagine you ever thinking yourself anything but beautiful, but no one of us is exempt from the wiles of our enemy. Thanks for being so transparent and sharing your story. It has blessed me.
