Debbie has a blended family of 7. She has 4 daughters, 3 sons-in-law, 3 sons and 7 grandchildren. She and her husband, Chris, visited Harvest shortly after moving to Plainview four years ago. After visiting several churches, the Buford’s felt led to join Harvest last year. Debbie has always been involved in youth and music ministries for many years in other churches. She has served as a keyboardist and vocalist with various praise and worship teams. She loves teaching at any level and sharing Christ with whoever needs to hear. This includes teaching inmates at the Lubbock County Detention Center for 2 years on the topic of “Changing your Mind Set”. Chris works as a Corporal at the Lubbock Detention Center impacting the lives of inmates on a daily basis. He also currently serves two days a week with “Meals on Wheels” in Plainview, Texas.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
Well, currently my skills are pretty evident because I am engaged with them everyday! Teaching, piano, and lots of motivational talks!

What I do everyday. Teaching, working on music and letting my light shine to my students and peers!”

Who is someone you admire and why?
My parents! I am who I am today because of their faithfulness to each other and their faithfulness to ensure I knew the Christ, my living Saviour, who gives LIFE to those who follow him!
