Julie Snellgrove

Julie serves as our Women’s Ministry Leader. She works with volunteers across our church to plan and facility women’s ministry at Harvest. Julie’s heart is for women to find their true identity as coheirs with Christ. She believes the heart of the home is the woman and when she is fully alive to Christ, it ministers to the whole family.
She has been married to her favorite pastor, Brad, since 1996 and they have 3 sons: Joshua, Caleb and David.

Which books changed your life?
#1 Hands Down (besides the Bible) Discovering Soul Care by Mindy Caliguire
#2 Boundaries by Cloud and Townsend
#3 31 Days of Praise by Ruth Myers

If you could run away from all your responsibilities, where would you go and why?
Gosh… that’s hard…maybe a little cabin in the woods.  Preferably somewhere quiet.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
My mom always says, “Julie…you do what YOU know is right!!”

Which types of ministry are you most passionate about and why?
I must say I love family ministry…I’m passionate about helping women encounter Christ, but I also enjoy helping kids encounter Christ.  I believe the heart of the home is the woman and when she is fully alive to Christ, it ministers to the whole family.

  1. Julie thank you for taking time to share what God has put on your heart concerning women. Your words inspire and empower! Thank you for using all your gifts and talents to glorify God and encourage others! May God continue to bless you and your family as you daily walk with him.

  2. Oh Julie that was really good. You are so full of Wisdom friend. I offten need to remember this. Sotimes by the time Jordan gets home from work I am worn out from “Mommy Jobs”. So when he gets home he wont get my best at times. Just what is left over….sad I know. Thank you God for blessing me with a Husband that is full of grace and totally understands the season we are in. This was a great blog! Please keep them coming. Love you!

    1. Thanks Christina…I’m so thankful for God’s grace during those early child training years. It really is sometimes more that we can handle. Praise God that He gives us others to walk beside us, like our husbands. You and Jordan are incredible parents and are doing a fantastic job raising your girls. Much Love, Julie

  3. Awesome word of truth Julie! I love how you deliver your insights from God in a true and practical application of what the Bible and Christ teaches us. Keep on keeping on friend!
