Lindsey Wesley attends the Amarillo campus with her husband, two biological kiddos (Conley and Bode), as well as two “bonus sons.” She was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle. In her free time, you will find her enjoying her family and friends. Lindsey is inspired by games and competition, and views every day as a good day for friendly competition. She feels that she is never too old to build a tent in the living room and enjoy “tent movie days” with her husband and kids.
If you could run away from all your responsibilities, where would you go?
The mountains and/or the lake.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Choose very carefully what you say yes to. Just because something is a good thing to do/commit to doesn’t automatically make it something the Lord is calling you to do. I make myself say out loud, “If I say yes to ___________, then I am saying no to_______.”
What area of ministry are you most passionate about and why?
I LOVE youth ministry. I feel like that period of your life can be both amazing and very tumultuous. It is overwhelming to get to walk alongside youth as God begins to speak to them and work through them in powerful ways.
