Paula Gowman loves to cook, read, travel, garden and spend time with her two precious grandsons, Sebastian and Thomas. She’s been married to Ron for 35 years and together they’ve served at HCF Plainview since Pastor Paul and D’Ann started the church in 1988. Paula is know for sharing the love of Christ through her cooking. She’s always ready and willing to teach others how to budget their time and resources in a way that blesses others and advances God’s Kingdom.

If you could run away from all your responsibilities, where would you go and why?
Australia/New Zealand– we love to travel and that is the ultimate trip we hope to go on someday. We are going to escape to Hawaii this summer to celebrate our 30th anniversary.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Be yourself– you know who God made you to be and you’re the best parents your kids will ever have.
Which types of ministry are you most passionate about and why?
Hospitality based – serving meals or food or giving to people. You can bless people by cooking/serving them a meal from your heart and kitchen. Also, random acts of kindness at times.
