Tissie Beasley

Tissie Beasley has been married to her husband Michael for 12 wonderful years. They have 3 beautiful children, Emma, Stephen and David. Tissie enjoys shopping, reading, watching movies and hanging out with her friends. Her love for her family keeps her on the go most days and you will find her serving, shuttling, bringing, taking and dropping off at any given moment! Tissie has a deep love for God’s word and enjoys sharing it with those that God’s puts in her path.

Which books changed your life?
Bible, Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge, Discovering Soul Care by Mindy Caliguire, Grace the Power to Change by Dr. James Richards, 7 (current read, loving it) by Jen Hatmaker, The Wholehearted Marriage by Dr. Greg Smalley and Dr. Shawn Stoever, Foundations for Healing by Dr. Richard Becker, and my Parasitology and Microbiology Text books in college. 🙂

If you could run away from all your responsibilities, where would you go and why?
Mallorca, an Island off the coast of Spain. My mom says its beautiful and I would love to visit where I was born. It would be an adventure!

Which types of ministry are you most passionate about and why?
Marriage and family- People have invested so much into the health and well being of my marriage and family and I am getting to reap the benefits of it. I want to pour into others what has been given to me. A healthy marriage and family is so life giving and is a picture of Christ and his church.  With that, naturally comes a passion to pour into women and come alongside them as we learn together how to love and value ourselves, love and honor our husbands, love and train our children, and keep our home, creating a space that is a refuge for our family.

  1. Sweet Tissie Thank you so much for your quiet strength! I am so reminded by my boundries here lately in relation to my physical body with fractures here, mesh there, punctures here, adjustments here and there. Our physical bodies have limits as well. I am not the young spring chicken I used to be! His word strengthens these bones in there weakness!

  2. Baby Wise is indeed a great book to read before your first child arrives. It makes parenting so much easier if you follow their advice and hang in there when you are tempted to abandon their suggestions. They have follow-up books for parenting older kids.
