Ashton Riddle

Ashton Riddle grew up in Levelland, TX. Ashton met her husband in the first grade and they were inseparable for much of elementary school until his family moved away. In January 2010, through a mutual friend, the two were reintroduced, engaged by August and married by December. Together, She and Doug have 3 boys; Ace is 13, Dax is 10, Axl is 6. And then the glitter to top all that boy is DezMarie who is 2. Before coming to Plainview, Ashton and her husband were full time Children’s Pastors in Levelland, and then part of a church plant in Kansas City, KS. Family ministry and the heart of women along with a deep love for hospitality are just a few of the areas of ministry she is passionate about. The Riddle family came to Plainview and Harvest Christian Fellowship in 2019. Kansas was beautiful but they are just true West Texas people!

When it comes to having a hero, she would have to say it’s the Pastor’s wife of the church where they spent 6 years serving. While a member of that specific church from the day she was born, serving as staff created a much deeper bond and connection to a woman she already looked up to. She learned how to be at peace with all men, serve with a heart of worship and adoration, and above all show grace.

A moment from Ashton’s childhood which had the greatest effect on her life would be the brokenness of her family. While coming from a home of parents who chose to separate, it allowed her to see God’s mercy through it all. This is where God began to dig roots deeply in her heart to advocate families into the throne room of heaven. Be it counseling, planning an event, or providing a table to gather and fellowship, Ashton’s heart for this ministry is how God showed her He uses all things to glorify Him.

“Growing is a process and learning never stops. Remain teachable.” This is a quote spoken over her household daily. It’s a constant reminder we are all human and there is never a day where God isn’t stretching us all.
