Leah Montez has been married to her husband, Angel, since 2018. They have been attending Harvest Christian Fellowship Plainview since 2021. They have 5 children: Jonathan, Jared, Jasmine, Elisha, and Heaven and also serve as foster parents. Leah and Angel both serve together on the altar team and as greeters at the front doors. Leah is also a full-time Psychology student, a peer support specialist in addiction recovery and mental health, a pastoral counselor, and co-founder of Resurrecting Hope Ministries ( helping married couples who have experienced infidelity). In her spare time Leah enjoys a bubble bath.

If you could escape all your responsibilities, where would you go?
A beautiful beach. It’s my happy place.
What area of ministry are you most passionate about and why?
I am passionate about helping those who are hurting. I lived in trauma almost all of my life. I want to help others find healing and joy in their lives.
What is one quirky fact about you?
I refuse to act my age.
