Bambi grew up in Vernon Tx. She was a Texas Tech Graduate, and has been a teacher in the public and private schools for 37 years. She lives in Abernathy with her husband, Larry, of 31 years. She has 2 stepsons- Linc & Ladd and 1 daughter- Morgan. Larry & Bambi are the proud grandparents to 6 grandkids and a new son-in-law coming in June! Bambi’s hobbies include: Gardening, cooking, decorating, hanging with family & friends and working out. She’s a lover of: Jesus, Larry, dogs, friends & Life Group and chocolate.
Who do you most admire and why? I most admire my husband! He has a heart for the Lord like no one I know! He’s generous, loving, caring, sometimes grumpy, and he loves me.
What are some favorite books of yours? Beth Moore bible studies (all of them) is where my heart began to change and I began to live in freedom and for Christ! Goliath Must Fall by Louie Giglio is also a favorite.
What makes you come alive? I’m most alive when I’m serving others! Whether it’s hosting family gatherings, showers or just friends over for a meal and great fellowship. It’s my gift from God!
What are some skills or talents you have? I have my own business: Lutrick Landscape and Design. I design wedding bouquets and love to design wedding flowers.
