Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?I’m a seamstress! My mom helped me make my junior and senior prom dresses, which turned into a small sewing and monogramming business where I made aprons, bibs, burp cloths, nap mats, etc. before starting a family. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Finance and my Masters Degree in Business Management from WTAMU. While there, I was a banking officer at Amarillo National Bank for three years. My experience in bookkeeping and the bank-wide customer service trainer has equipped me to manage our farm books at home and teach others.
What makes you come alive? I absolutely love teaching wellness classes and even more, being a wife and stay-at-home mom to our girls.
Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up? I wanted to be a teacher. I would play “school” with my sister and teach her everything I was learning. Now, I enjoy watching my daughters play “school.”
Who is someone you admire, and why? I admire my mom so much! She is a beautiful woman of God, always serving others with a joyful spirit.
