They love to serve God’s Kingdom and are always here if anyone needs any prayer or words of encouragement!! May God be with you all and God bless!!

Who is your hero? And why?

My sisters in Christ are my heroes! If I had to put a name down it would definitely be sister Crissy Urrutia. She is my hero because she has not only talked to me through this first full year of surrendering my life, but she has walked with me through most of it. God sent her into my life in April 2020 and since then we have been inseparable!!

What one event in your childhood had the greatest effect on your life?

The day the “white bus” came down our street…

I had friends that lived across the street from me, I was 6 years old. I walked to their house when they got home and asked, “What was that bus here for? Where did y’all go?” They told me, “It’s a church bus, we go to church! You wanna go?” I asked “What’s church?” I knew “church” as Sunday school or mass at the time. I asked my mom the next time if I could join my friends. Let’s just say that “next time” ended up being every time I could go, I was there!!

If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have?

I’m a stay at home mom and honestly, I feel like I would be lost doing something else. I get to raise my babies in God’s eyes. I would never change that for the world. If I had to chose something though it would definitely be marriage counseling or any kind of counselling. I have a passion for helping others. If something I’ve gone through could help someone, I’m all for it!!

What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?

If there is something that I was always taught by my mom it would definitely be manners! This is something I have continued throughout my whole life but has now shined throughout my children. I’m a strong believer of respect! I have always shown respect and had manners since the day I could speak. That is something I will always treasure and continue showing my children!!
