Naomi Jones grew up in a very large family in Plainview, Texas. She married Bobby in 1977 and had they have two sons, a daughter-in-law and one grandson. Bobby and Naomi have attended Harvest since the last Sunday in June 2013. Naomi enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games and Skyping with her grandson, Laston in China (unless she can spend time with him in person!)
Who is your hero? And why?
That is an easy question. Jesus is my hero! I know that sounds cliché. But Jesus is the first person that I knew really loved me and that He was my security growing up. He will always be my hero!
What books have had the greatest influence on your life?
Of course, the Bible. It is where I draw my strength. Also, Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It reminds me of how God pursues us, with all our imperfections and loves us despite them.
What do you enjoy doing most?
I enjoy Saturday morning breakfasts with my husband. It’s a relaxing time after a busy week when we can sit and enjoy each other’s company and talk. This world is too rushed. We need a time when we get a chance to slow down and appreciate those things that are most important to us.
