Vickie Young has been married to her husband, Darren since 1984. They have 2 grown kids: Nathan who is married to Alyson and Jarrod who is married to Katie. They have 5 grandchildren: Slade, Saylor, Sloane, Ellie, and Jake. They have been attending Harvest Christian Plainview since 2015 and Vickie serves in the Women’s Ministry at Harvest. Vickie is retired after dedicating 30 years of her life in education. In her spare time she enjoys walking, reading, and playing Mahjong.

I love to be anywhere near water. It’s just so peaceful.
What area of ministry are you most passionate about and why?
I love writing and speaking. I feel like, at my age, I can pass on some wisdom that God has taught me.

I’m pretty ordinary. There’s nothing too quirky about me.
