Megan Hollis has been married to her husband, Clay, since 2015. They attend Harvest Christian Fellowship Plainview along with their kids: John, Dani, Lee and Jane. Megan and Clay’s 3 oldest kids were adopted from foster care and then the Lord blessed them with a biological daughter the same year. None of the kids are biologically related to each other and they all have their own unique stories. Megan and Clay started attending Harvest in August 2023. Megan is a stay at home mom with business ventures and hobbies. She owns a permanent jewelry business, The Spark Queens. She also identifies herself as a self proclaimed goat farmer and is a CASA volunteer for kids in foster care. Her husband, Clay, is the Agency Manager of Texas Farm Bureau for Lamb County. Megan stays busy around the Hollis house but she wouldn’t change a thing. She loves the life that the Lord has so graciously blessed them with.
What are some books that changed your life?
The Bible
If you could escape all your responsibilities, where would you go?
Ireland. I have always wanted to go and see that beautiful country.
What area of ministry are you most passionate about and why?
Women. I think because I have been impacted the most by women’s ministry that I want to pour back into other women. I love just sitting and listening to other women’s stories. The Lord did not bless me with a bunch of words but He did bless me with two really good ears and a sweet smile that helps women feel heard.
What is one quirky fact about you?
When I eat a grapefruit, I peel not only the rind off of the outside, but also the clear walls around each piece of grapefruit so that I only eat the juicy yumminess of the pulp. It is a very messy process sometimes, but worth it.
