Rachel Loafman

Rachel is from a small community south of Abilene, Texas called Lemons Gap. She moved to the Plainview area in 2013 after moving around Texas, and has attended Harvest since then. She is passionate about the Lord’s pursuit for the hearts of His people. She loves to lead worship in any and all forms and is currently serving on the worship team through AVL. She and her husband, Rance, lead a Lifegroup as well. They have been married since 2010 and have two beautiful and outgoing daughters. As a family, their goal is to change the culture around them, starting with themselves.

Who is you hero?  My heroes are the people around me who continually overcome the obstacles in their paths and keep their heads up despite their circumstances.

What book has had the greatest impact on your life?  The books that have made the biggest influences in my life are (in no order) Crash the Chatterbox & Unqualified- both by Steven Furtick. Destined to Win & Poverty, Riches and Wealth- both by Kris Valloton. And finally, Explicit Gospel by Matt Chandler.

What do you enjoy doing most?  I enjoy playing music, singing, and worship. One of my favorite hobbies since I was young is learning new instruments. Now, I love teaching my daughters to love and enjoy music as much as I do as well as teaching them how to worship and love the Lord with their lives daily.

What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?  My mom taught me to love Jesus more than anyone or anything. She was and is the one who helped lead me into His arms time and again when the hearts of men failed me.
